The Rotary Leadership Victoria Australian Embassy for Timor-Leste Fund Limited was formed in 2003 as a company under the Corporations Act 2001.

The Directors of the Company in 2008 are:

The Timor-Leste Government has recognized the project and a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by The Hon Jose Ramos Horta, Senior Minister and Minister for Forign Affairs and Cooperation and Mr Neville Barwick, Chairman, The Australian Embassy for Timor-Leste Fund Limited in October 2003, stating the terms of agreement for the development and building of the Embassy.
